Creating the Magic!

Our Event Design process is about collaborating with you to design a distinctive look for your signature occasion. We want your guests to walk away from your event saying, “… Wow, that was so you!” In order to create your decor design look for your event, Vintage Ivy Events has 6 steps we follow, regardless of the service we will be providing.

Step One: Initial Consultation*
The initial consultation is where we’ll learn more about you, your event, and your vision. We’ll also want to understand your personal style, when and where the event is taken place, your desired color combination, and what inspires you. You can always send us pictures, fabric swatches, links to websites or blogs—anything you have to help us bring your vision to life.

Step Two: The Proposal
We’ll create a custom proposal just for you. A meeting will be scheduled so that we can review the proposal with you and make adjustments based on your feedback.

Step Three: Contract Agreement and Deposit
Once the proposal and pricing is agreed upon, you will sign an agreement and provide a 35% non-refundable deposit, which will secure your event date and allow for us to begin planning the details.

Step Four: The Details
In this stage, which is 10-12 weeks before your event, we will start to elaborate and finalize the floral and/or the design details. A meeting or two for your mock setup maybe requested or e-mails maybe sent about the design creation.

Step Five: Finalize
6-8 weeks before your event, we will work with you to finalize your invoice. At that time you will approve the final design and details that we have created together. This will enable us to place the orders for your event. Final payment is required 30 days prior to your event date.

Step Six: Event day
On the event day, our design team will deliver the items agreed upon from the contract and setup your event space. We will also schedule to have our design team breakdown the event space based on the items we delivered.

*A note about consultations
We are available Monday-Thursday in order to accommodate our events, which typically occur on
the weekends. However, we will make every effort to be flexible to your schedule. Also, we collaborate with desired vendors to execute the full event look (lighting, linens, chairs, tableware, and backdrops).

Pre-priced Wedding Decor Packages

Our pre-priced packages are ideal for brides looking for fresh and astonishing wedding flowers on a set budget. The pre-priced packages include choice of floral colors. Items may be added to any package at an “a la carte” price listed above.

Classic Weddings – $1500

For a bride who wants a wedding full of classic roses.

Bride’s bouquet: hand-tied bouquet of roses with satin wrapped stems

Groom’s Boutonniere: single rose with satin wrapped stem

Bridesmaids’ bouquets (4): hand tied bouquet of roses with satin wrapped stems (each additional is $50)

Groomsmen and other Boutonnieres (7): single rose with satin wrapped stem (each additional is $10)

3 bags of rose petals

Corsages (3): double roses, greenery, and sheer ribbon accent

Alter arrangements (2): medium mix of roses, seasonal blooms, (e.g. carnations, hydrangeas, lilies) and greenery accents

Pew bows (10): double roses and seasonal blooms with satin ribbon (each additional is $20)

Cake table and guest book table: votive candles and rose petals

Sweetheart table or headtable: vases with submerged flowers and other decor design

10 centerpieces with 10 rented vases: medium mix of roses, seasonal blooms, (e.g. carnations, hydrangeas, lilies) and greenery accents (each additional centerpiece is $75)

Package includes 50 votive candles

**This package does not include Maryland tax or delivery and setup.

Elegant Weddings – $1750

For a bride who wants a wedding full of elegant calla lilies.

Bride’s bouquet: hand-tied bouquet of 20 mini calla lilies and a few roses with satin wrapped stems

Groom’s Boutonniere: single mini calla lily with satin wrapped stem

Bridesmaids’ bouquets (4): hand tied bouquet of 10 mini calla lilies with satin wrapped stems (each additional is $50)

Groomsmen Boutonnieres (7): single mini calla lily with satin wrapped stem (each additional is $10)

3 bags of rose petals

Corsages (3): double mini calla lilies, greenery, and sheer ribbon accent

Alter arrangements (2): medium mix of mini calla lilies, seasonal blooms, (e.g. carnations, hydrangeas, roses) and greenery accents

Exotic Weddings – $2000

For a bride who wants a wedding full of exotic orchids.

Bride’s bouquet: hand-tied bouquet of orchids and roses with satin wrapped stems

Groom’s Boutonniere: single orchid with satin wrapped stem

Bridesmaids’ bouquets (4): hand tied bouquet of roses and a couple of orchids with satin wrapped stems (each additional is $50)

Groomsmen Boutonnieres (7): single rose with satin wrapped stem (each additional is $12)

3 bags of rose petals

Corsages (3): double orchids and sheer ribbon accent

Alter arrangements (2): medium mix of orchids, seasonal blooms, (e.g. carnations, hydrangeas, roses) and greenery accents

Pew bows (10): 2 orchid stems and seasonal blooms with satin ribbon (each additional is $25)

Cake table and guest book table: votive candles and rose petals
